USATSI_7804707_154849602_lowres   We're just hours away from tip-off, as Kentucky looks to steal Wichita St's #1 seed in the Midwest region.   It's the round of 32, with only 5 games remaining before a 9th championship could potentially land in Lexington.  There's still a long way to go, and it continues today with the matchup against the potential "40-0" Shockers.  It's kind of ironic, as the Cats were speculated to go "40-0" by many fans, but we all know how that really turned out.  Now here we are, as if it was some cruel joke played by the NCAA Selection Committee, facing the only team remaining with the chance of an undefeated season.  It certainly has all of the makings for the best game of this round, let's just hope it ends with Kentucky still dancing. -  If you want a quick preview of today's big matchup from the guys over at ESPN, check it out here.  Included is all that talk about a "promised" perfect season, but I'm pretty sure no one with the team ever promised "40-0". -  What are five things to watch for during the game?  Luke Winn from Sports Illustrated lists his five for you, and even includes some nice statistical comparisons between the Cats and Shockers. -  The Kentucky Sweet Sixteen High School basketball championship tips off today as well.  The Scott County Cardinals take on Covington Catholic at 2 PM, but the game won't be televised live.  If you want to live stream it up until the Kentucky game, you can head over to this link to watch. -  In case you missed it, Kentucky's baseball team sent the #1 South Carolina Gamecocks home with a series loss.  For a complete review of this matchup, check out how the Bat Cats made history over the weekend at UKathletics.com.UK Hoops defeated Wright St 106-60 yesterday, advancing to the 2nd round of the Women's NCAA tourney.  It was a crazy crowd inside of Memorial, and it shouldn't be any different when UK hosts Syracuse tomorrow.  Here's your full recap of yesterday's UK Hoops victory.     Go Big Blue!
