It's official now; Kahlil Whitney is going pro.
The one-time Kentucky Wildcat has signed with Verus Team Management as he plans on elevating his basketball career to the professional ranks. Verus also represents former Kentucky guard and current member of the New York Knicks, Kevin Knox.

Whitney originally announced his intentions to transfer away from UK back in January before declaring for the NBA Draft a few months later in April. Both decisions have caused some criticism to be directed towards Whitney, considering he appeared in just 18 games while averaging 3.3 points and 1.7 rebounds per outing.
He ultimately decided to remain in the NBA Draft instead of transferring to a different program. ESPN tabs Whitney as the 74th best prospect in the upcoming draft.
Verus' other high-profile clients include Victor Oladpio (IND), Terry Rozier (CHA), and Derrick Jones Jr. (MIA).
