Of course that is not what fans want to hear. They want to know what team to be cheering for the player to get and -in this case- who to cheer to win the draft lottery. But finally we got an answer out of KAT and its not surprising at all. The New Jersey native sat down with the NY Post to discuss his future and let the world know he has high hopes for the Knick. Towns had nothing but good things to say about president Phil Jackson and the program he runs.
"What he means to me, his presence is just amazing. What was so awesome as a coach, he made every player better and put them in the best position to succeed. He’s just so smart and intelligent and has so much experience"
Towns said he even has some Knicks gear in his bedroom back home.
“Yeah, in this area growing up, you don’t have the money to have the NBA League Pass, so you got the local teams,’’ Towns said. “I always got a chance to watch the MSG channel and watch the Knicks play. I grew up to have a lot of respect for the Knicks."
Of course Towns said he will be happy for the opportunity where ever he may end up, but at least we know now he will be happiest with this the Knicks. The full- order of the draft won't be known until May 19 when the lottery takes place. The Timberwolves have a 25 percent chance of wining that No.. 1 pick while the Knicks have the second best chance at 19.9. Get more quotes and the full story here.   @Sealey_KSR
