Some draft news ...

As per normal, it looks like Karl Anthony Towns will not be working out for any team before the draft. Of course, if I was a virtual lock to be one of the top two picks, I doubt I would work out for anyone, either. And most of the time, the guys thought to go at the top of the draft do exactly that. ZagsBlog does say Towns will interview with the Twolves and Lakers, which is suposedly more important at this stage of the game, anyway. The teams have seen KAT play the entire season. What they have not done is talk to him at length. In my opinion, that will probably make teams love Towns even more. Who couldn't love these kids? willie-combine

And a Willie update ...

Derek Bodner, in a video for USAToday Sports, broke down what he considered to be the top three "safest" picks in the upcoming draft. *Spoiler alert!* Let's just say the writer is a Willie Cauley-Stein man. Bodner chose Willie, Stanley Johnson of Arizona and Bobby Portis of Arkansas as the "safest" picks in this year's draft. Why did he choose them, exactly? And what does that title mean? You'll have to read and listen to his video for those answers. I will say this, though - his most recent mock draft had Okafor going No. 1 to Minnesota. So, there's that. More Big Blue news throughout the day, including some football stories . . . AND a story on the "Jared Lorenzen" of college baseball. Stay tuned! Go Big Blue!
