Keith Bogans to Start for the Chicago Bulls

bogans Over the next few days, there will be a lot of stories about the UK players from last year as they make their debuts in the NBA. Patrick Patterson, Eric Bledsoe and Demarcus Cousins will take their opening tip on Wednesday and John Wall will debut on national television on Thursday night. But as we celebrate the new guys in the league, lets not forget an older UK legend who also got big news this week. Keith Bogans has been officially named the starting SG for the Chicago Bulls and will get big minutes for one of the better teams in the East. Bogans is still (in my view) one of the most underrated UK players of the last 30 years and he has made an NBA career for himself by constantly working, doing the little things and playing good solid defense, making him a key contributor on good NBA teams. It is no coincidence that teams with talent see Bogans as a solid contributor, but this may be his best chance to be a key player on a contender, as his hard work has led to a starting role. So lets get excited for Wall, Boogie, P-Patt and the rest this week. But dont forget Bogans as well...he is ready to make a mark as well.
