Kellan Grady has landed with an NBA team.

After going unselected during Thursday night’s 2022 NBA Draft, the former Kentucky Wildcat sharpshooter has reportedly signed a contract with the Denver Nuggets. The Athletic’s Kyle Tucker reports that it will be an Exhibit 10 deal.

Grady will join fellow one-time UK player Jamal Murray on the Nuggets, who is expected to return in 2022-23 after sitting out all of last season with a knee injury.

Grady now joins Shaedon Sharpe (No. 7; Portland Trail Blazers), TyTy Washington (No. 29; Houston Rockets), and Davion Mintz (Exhibit 10; Washington Wizards) as Kentucky players from the 2021-22 roster who have found an NBA home.

An Exhibit 10 contract is a one-year, minimum salary NBA contract that provides flexibility for the team signing the player. Teams can convert a player’s one-year, minimum contract into a two-way contract before the start of the season. With an Exhibit 10 attachment, players can earn a bonus of up to $50,000 in the event they are waived by the team and sign with its G League affiliate for 60 days.

After spending his first four college seasons at Davidson, Grady came to Kentucky as a graduate student looking to make his game NBA-ready. During his lone season with the ‘Cats, the 6-foot-5 native of Boston averaged 11.4 points per game while shooting 41.5 percent from beyond the arc on 6.2 attempts.
