It’s a consensus: Kentucky is the No. 20 team in college football. The new AP Top 25 just dropped and your University of Kentucky Wildcats are No. 20, the same as in the preseason rankings that came out on August 15 and the new Coaches Poll.

Florida, who was outside the preseason Top 25, is now No. 12 following its win over then-No. 7 Utah. That’s a heck of a jump. The top three of the AP Poll are the same as the Coaches Poll: 1. Alabama, 2. Georgia, 3. Ohio State. Unlike the Coaches Poll, Tennessee cracked the Top 25, coming in at No. 24.
