Kentucky enters Saturday’s contest with Auburn having lost 10 consecutive SEC games and 11 consecutive power conference games. The lack of home wins is well known. Its been a long time since this program has recorded a win. However, the three most recent power conference victories have all occurred on the road.

Since 2020, UK has delivered one outright upset per season on the road. The Cats typically win one you’re not expecting away from Kroger Field.

Kentucky has also won a pick ’em game versus Missouri (2022) in this stretch. The Cats have consistently won one when you think the shouldn’t away from home. Three of these victories were by double-digits. UK is 8-5 against the spread (ATS) as a road dog since 2021 with four outright upsets. The Cats also won outright as a road underdog in 2015 (South Carolina), 2016 (Missouri, Louisville), 2017 (South Carolina), and 2018 (Florida). This is something that this program does well.

UK has been a live road dog in recent seasons. Now they will be playing a team that has been a bad home favorite. Auburn is 3-7-1 ATS when laying points at Jordan-Hare Stadium under Hugh Freeze with five outright losses. The Tigers have lost at least one game per year as a double-digit favorite. Kentucky is currently a currently a 10.5-point underdog with a total of 45.5 at BetMGM.

Will Kentucky extend this upset streak on Saturday night? The Cats seem to have a favorable on-paper matchup in this SEC contest.
