Kentucky dropped two spots in ESPN’s SEC Power Rankings this week, falling from ninth to eleventh after last night’s loss to Florida. The Cats entered the game at No. 9 in the rankings, one spot ahead of the Gators.

Arkansas, South Carolina and Vanderbilt are the three teams below Kentucky through three weeks of action. They are the only three teams in the conference with a losing record.

Here is what ESPN had to say about UK:

11. Kentucky Wildcats (2-1): The loss to Florida was a heartbreaker. Many in Lexington believed this would be the year they broke the losing streak to Florida, but it wasn’t to be. That said, this is a competitive team in the SEC East. After beating South Carolina and having a chance to beat Florida, Kentucky has a compelling game against Mizzou next week. Despite the loss, Mark Stoops’ troops continue to show progress.

Mizzouri is ranked one spot ahead of Kentucky at No. 10. The Tigers are up next on the Cats’ schedule.
