Jeff Sagarin is known for many things.  Not really, he's actually only known for rating various sports like basketball, golf, and soccer at USAToday.com.  The rating system that gains him the most notoriety, however, is college football.  After yesterday's 38 point defeat to Florida, Kentucky has fallen to #81 in the poll, with a rating of 66.47.  This places Joker's Wildcats immediately behind Western Michigan, Air Force, and Louisiana-Lafayette. Next week's opponent, South Carolina, is currently ranked 5th with a rating of 89.85.  To see how many points the Gamecocks are favored by simply add three points to Kentucky's rating to signify home-field advantage and subtract that total from South Carolina's total.  After computing that we learn that Kentucky enters Saturday's match-up as 20 point underdogs.   Other teams of note. #1.  Alabama (99.96) #3. LSU (91.72) #6. Florida (89.84) #10. Georgia (88.46) #43. Louisville (75.46) #46. Tennessee (75.01) #99. Indiana (62.78)   The ratings in their entirety can be found here.
