Kentucky Falls to Florida 66-64

A bad night just got worse. Kentucky squandered away a good start by finishing the first half without a field goal in the final six minutes.  Even though they fought back to take a lead with five minutes to play, it all went down the drain to close the game. The Cats went more than 30 minutes without a made three-pointer.  Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Wenyen Gabriel were the only Wildcats in double figures; each finished with 10 points. A banked-in three from Kevin Knox with 32.5 remaining and a three from Gabriel with 26.2 on the clock gave the Cats hope, but Kentucky couldn't get a good scoring opportunity in the final offensive possession. Tonight had the potential to be an excellent night for the Big Blue Nation.  Instead, everything that could have gone wrong went wrong. [mobile_ad]
