After closing out the regular season with a 9-3 record, Kentucky Football will enter the postseason as a consensus Top 25 team in the country.

Ahead of the College Football Playoff Selection Show on Sunday, both the AP and Coaches Polls were updated in preparation for the announcement of bowl games. As a result, Kentucky came in ranked No. 25 by the AP Poll and No. 20 by the Coaches Poll.

UK did not move up in the AP Poll, as the ‘Cats were ranked No. 25 after dominating Louisville 52-21 last weekend. However, the Coaches Poll bumped Kentucky up two spots from No. 22 to No. 20 despite the off week.

The final College Football Playoff Rankings will be announced later in the day. Kentucky will learn of its bowl game fate around then, as well, which is expected to be either the Citrus Bowl or Outback bowl.
