Kentucky S Ty Bryant Earns Second Team All-SEC Honors

The 5-7 2025 Kentucky football campaign featured more lows than highs, but one man responsible for a few of those highs was Ty Bryant.

The Lexington native and Kentucky football legacy earned Second Team All-SEC honors from the league’s coaches. Bryant led the SEC in interceptions with four, which ranked inside the Top 25 nationally.

Bryant got the pick party started in the SEC opener. He intercepted a pair of Ole Miss passes to give the Wildcats ten points. It was the first time a Kentucky Wildcats charted two interceptions in an SEC home game since Anthony Wajda in 1999 vs. LSU. The team captain also secured an interception in the win over Florida and at Vanderbilt.

Bryant led the team in tackles with 76 during his junior campaign. He also had 2.0 TFLs and a pass breakup. He was the only Kentucky Wildcat selected by the coaches to the All-SEC team.
