Kentucky Football Single-Game Tickets go on sale THURSDAY

Can you hear that? It’s almost Football Time In The Bluegrass. UK just announced that single-game tickets for all seven home games in the 2021 season will go on sale Thursday, July 8 at 9 a.m. on Ticketmaster. Yes, as in, the day after tomorrow. Set a reminder.

Tickets range from $25 to $105 based on opponent and seating area. Football season ticket holders may take advantage of a presale with exclusive pricing that is currently underway through their My UK Account. Groups of 15 or more can also purchase specially priced tickets starting at $20 per ticket through the UK Sales Office at (800) 928-2287 (Option 1). UK also announced its promotional schedule for the 2021 home season. You can read complete details from UK Athletics below, but here’s the short version:

Louisiana-Monroe (Sept. 4, Noon): Scout Day, Cheer and Dance Day
Missouri (Sept. 11, 7:30 p.m.): Military Appreciation/Heroes Day
Chattanooga (Sept. 18, Noon): Family Weekend, Teacher Appreciation Day, Alumni Band Day, Fellowship Day
Florida (Oct. 2, TBA): Ag Roundup
LSU (Oct. 9, TBA): Homecoming
Tennessee (Nov. 6, TBA): Hall of Fame Weekend, Salute to Veterans game
New Mexico State (Nov. 20, TBA): Senior Day, Youth Sports and Activities Day


ULM – Sept. 4 at Noon

UK will host Louisiana-Monroe in the season opener for both teams on Sept. 4. The game will mark Scout Day, where scouts from across the area can get specially-priced tickets starting at $15 each. Scout patches will also be given to the first 500 scouts through the gates. For more information, contact Ben Boaz at [email protected] or (800) 928-2287 (Option 1).

The season opener will also be Cheer and Dance Day, with cheerleaders and dance teams from across the area invited to attend. More information about Cheer and Dance Day will be announced at a later date.

Missouri – Sept. 11 at 7:30 p.m.

The Cats welcome SEC rival Missouri for the conference opener. The game will also be Military Appreciation/Heroes Day.

Through a partnership with GovX, UK Athletics is pleased to offer members of Heroes Day groups one complimentary ticket to the game in addition to specially priced guest tickets by purchasing at UKathletics.com/GovX, while supplies last. Chattanooga – Sept. 18 at Noon

Kentucky’s third straight home game to open the season will serve as Family Weekend. Hosted by the UK Parent & Family Association, Family Weekend welcomes families of UK students to campus for a weekend full of fall activities. As part of Teacher Appreciation Day at Kroger Field, UK will participate in the College Football Playoff Foundation’s Extra Yard for Teachers Week. Extra Yard for Teachers elevates the teaching profession by inspiring and empowering teachers through the implementation of programs in four focus areas: resources, recognition, recruitment and professional development.

All teachers, in addition to University of Kentucky faculty & staff, will be able to purchase specially-priced tickets to Kentucky football’s game vs. Chattanooga. More details, including the exclusive online ordering link, will be released soon.  Purchases will be restricted to those with Kentucky public school email address domains (“@COUNTY.kyschools.us”). University of Kentucky faculty & staff purchases will be restricted to those with a UK email address (“@uky.edu”). Alumni Band Day will take place at Kroger Field on Sept. 18. The University of Kentucky Alumni Band Association is one of the largest and most active alumni associations on campus. Each year, the UK Alumni Band organizes a reunion where they perform with the Wildcat Marching Band at a home football game. Specially priced tickets will be available to participants and their guests for Kentucky’s game vs. Chattanooga, and information will be communicated to alumni later this summer

Join UK Athletics for Fellowship Day at Kroger Field. Individuals and groups from all faiths and belief systems are invited to share fellowship with one another at Kentucky’s game vs. Chattanooga. Ticket holders will gain access to an exclusive pregame speaking event discussing the importance of fellowship in athletics and how that fellowship can make the world a better place. More information about the speaking event will be available later this summer. Florida – Oct. 2 (Time TBA)

Kentucky and Florida get together on the gridiron on Ag Roundup weekend on the UK campus.

Ag Roundup will take place Oct. 1-3 and welcomes alumni and friends of the College of Agriculture, Food and Environment. The weekend will feature live music, food, yard games and more. For more information about Ag Roundup, visit alumni.ca.uky.edu/roundup.

LSU – Oct. 9 (Time TBA)

UK’s 106th annual Homecoming will take place as the Wildcats play LSU at Kroger Field. Fellow alumni and friends will gather in Lexington for fun and fellowship as UK will celebrate the 106th University of Kentucky Homecoming. Tennessee – Nov. 6 (Time TBA)

The Nov. 6 contest against Tennessee will be Hall of Fame weekend. UK Athletics will formally induct its 2021 Hall of Fame class this weekend, and the new Hall of Famers will be recognized on the field during the Florida game. The class includes Bettie Lou Evans (women’s golf), Kendra Harrison (track & field), Nazr Mohammed (men’s basketball), Larry Warford (football), Bob Whelan (cross country/track & field) and Arin Gilliland Wright (women’s soccer).

UK Athletics will pay special tribute to veterans as part of Kentucky football’s annual Salute to Veterans game. More details about this event will be available later this fall.

Fans are encouraged to visit the Chairs of Honor, dedicated during the 2018 season by Rolling Thunder, a non-profit organization dedicated to publicizing the POW/MIA issue. Chairs of Honor are empty black stadium chairs with a plaque dedicating each one to the soldiers who have made the ultimate sacrifice, have been held Prisoner of War, are listed as Missing in Action and those currently serving. These Chairs of Honor are located in each corner of the upper concourse of Kroger Field.

New Mexico State – Nov. 20 (Time TBA)

The home slate concludes as the Cats welcome New Mexico State. The Cats will celebrate the 2021 Senior Class during Senior Day festivities prior to the game.

The Nov. 20 game will also be Youth Sports and Activities Day, where youth teams from across the area will be eligible for specially-priced tickets starting at $15.
