One of the best players on Kentucky’s big board has reopened his recruitment.

Tyreese Fearbry, a four-star defensive end out of Perry Traditional Academy up in Pittsburgh, PA, announced through his Twitter account on Thursday that he has decommitted from Penn State, not even a full month after initially committing on July 4. A 6-foot-5, 225-pound beast on the line, Fearbry was once considering the Wildcats and he even tagged Kentucky’s defensive coordinator Brad White in his decommitment tweet.

Fearbry is considered a top-200 prospect by 247Sports and one of the top edge rushers in the country. He took a visit to Lexington back in early June and there is a sense that Kentucky and the Pittsburgh Panthers will duke it out for his services. Before he committed to Penn State, it was Kentucky, Pitt, Auburn, and the Nittany Lions as the consensus top four.

For those that like to look a little bit deeper into these types of recruitments, consider that both Vince Marrow and new defensive backs coach Chris Collins have followed Fearbry on Twitter since his decommitment.

Buckle up…
