Kentucky Football Fan Day is back, but it will look slightly different in 2021. The University of Kentucky announced that all systems are a go for UK Fan Day, beginning Saturday, Aug. 7 at 11 am. Open to the general public, admission is free, including parking in the green lot. Fans can enter the stadium through gates 2 and 3 beginning at 10 am. The Wildcats are bucking a trend set by other schools in the South. Alabama and Florida State recently canceled their fan days amid a surge in COVID-19 cases. UK fans will be able to see the Wildcats, with restrictions. In previous years an autograph session and meet and greet with the team preceded an open practice. This year there will be no autographs or pictures with the players, but you will still be able to see them in action from the Kroger Field stands. Fans can also pick up schedule posters and win prizes, including autographs from the UK coaching staff. Players will throw signed mini-footballs into the stands at the conclusion of practice. The Saturday morning practice on the second day of preseason training camp will be the BBN's first opportunity to see Wan'Dale Robinson, Will Levis and the rest of Liam Coen's offense. They will not be opening up the playbook to drop bombs all over the field, but it's the perfect opportunity to see what Kentucky has in store for the 2021 football season. KSR will see you there. https://twitter.com/UKFootball/status/1422220567718109186?s=20
