Kentucky High School Football Rankings: Week 4

Week four is in the books and there were not many upsets. Ballard makes its KSR Top 25 debut after knocking off then-No. 15 Franklin County, dropping the Flyers just outside of the rankings.   

Kentucky High School Football Top 25

1. Male – DNP

2. St. Xavier – DNP

3. Beechwood – QB Cam Hergott, last year’s Mr. Football, rushed for 4 TDs in a 49-21 win over Simon Kenton.

4. Lexington Christian Academy – Usually a WR, Mason Moore started his second game at QB and ended with a passing TD, rushing TD, and a TD on a blocked punt to lead the Eagles to a 37-14 win over CAL.

5. Corbin – Seth Millshad had 133 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries and Corbin rolled over Pulaski County 49-6.

6. Frederick Douglass – Samuel Cornett completed 10-of-11 passes for 269 yards and three scores in a 56-13 blowout over Dunbar.

7. South Warren – WKU commit Caden Veltkamp completed 13-of-15 passes for 172 yards and 2 TDs and ran for another score to lead the Spartans to an easy 42-7 win over Gibson Southern (IN).

8. Boyle County – Cole Lanter caught three TDs from Jagger Gillis in an impressive 48-14 victory over Henderson County.

9. Johnson Central – Carter Conley’s 5-yard TD run gave the Eagles a thrilling 42-36 OT win over Cahokia (IL).

10. Lexington Catholic – The Knights got 160 rushing yards and a TD from Walker Hall in a 45-30 victory over PRP.
