Kentucky men’s basketball is hosting an open practice and Kentucky Flood Relief Telethon at Rupp Arena on Tuesday in order to raise money for the devastating floods that impacted the eastern region of the state earlier this week.

This will be a prime opportunity for the Big Blue Nation to check out this year’s Wildcats before the team heads to the Bahamas next week. It’ll be an even better opportunity to provide necessary relief for the many hurting communities out in EKY.

Doors will open at 5:00 p.m. EST on Tuesday afternoon. More information will be announced soon.

“#BBN, please join us at Rupp on Tuesday as we support those in need in eastern Kentucky. Proud of my guys and their hearts,” John Calipari wrote on Twitter.

Kentucky Sports Radio (KSR) and the Kentucky Chamber Foundation are partnering to build a relief fund for our fellow Kentuckians to ensure they are able to rebuild. With the money raised in this fund, our two groups will be working with local communities, local chambers, as well as our state and local elected officials to ensure the needs of these areas are met in the wake of tragedy.
