Jeremy Pruitt and the Tennessee Volunteers are having what some might call a rough start to the season. Kentucky’s coaching staff isn’t making things any easier for the Vols.

On Saturday Kentucky hosted four-star defensive end and Knoxville native, Tyler Baron, on an official visit. This morning Chad Simmons from Rivals spoke to three-star wide receiver Jimmy Calloway. The Tennessee commit regrets he was unable to attend Kroger Field over the weekend.

“Kentucky is a school I still talk to almost every day,” said Callaway. “They offered me last year and they have never slowed down recruiting me.

“I was going to visit them this past weekend for the Florida game, but I wasn’t able to get up there. I know I will take an official visit up there.”

In the conversation about Kentucky, Calloway said he’s still “around 80 percent” committed to Tennessee. It’s not a great sign for the Vols, but winning 80 percent of the time is something Pruitt’s program can aspire to do one day in the distant future.
