You can never have too many UK shirts, right? How about adding another one to the collection by clicking here. According to a Statesman.com article, Kentucky is one of the best-selling schools in the nation. The article's data was collected by the Collegiate Licensing Company from July 2011 to June 2012. I'm sure 2011's Final Four run, and this year's National Championship helped out a lot, but it doesn't take away from how much Big Blue Nation supports their teams and how great of a fan base Kentucky is. The CLC ranked the top ten schools based on their sales over that period of time and here are the results: 1. Texas 2. Alabama 3. Kentucky 4. Florida 5. Michigan 6. Louisiana State 7. North Carolina 8. Georgia 9. Notre Dame 10. Oklahoma Two things stand out to me. First, I'm shocked to see Texas at number one. Longhorn fans must really love their school, because they have been mediocre in both major sports (basketball and football) over the last two years. Secondly, the number of SEC schools listed. I don't know if there has been a previous period where a league completely dominated college sports like the SEC did this past year. A basketball National Champion, two football National Champion representatives, one football National Champion, three players going 1-2-3 in the NBA draft -- it's a pretty insane list of accolades. How do you feel about the rankings? Too low, or exactly where you thought we'd be?  [Kentucky Wildcats land on College Merchandise Sales List]
