Kentucky will likely be without senior linebacker Kash Daniel when they take on the Missouri Tigers on Saturday evening. On the KSR Pregame Show this afternoon, Matt Jones said he was hearing that Daniel is "likely out" tonight. After exiting Kentucky's matchup against Georgia last weekend with dizziness, UK head coach Mark Stoops recently revealed that the Paintsville, KY had been placed in the concussion protocol during UK's bye week three weeks back. During his weekly press conference on Monday, Stoops would not confirm Daniel's latest injury is another concussion, but admitted his previous injury is making the staff proceed with caution. “Anytime you have somebody in the concussion protocol it’s concerning," Stoops said. "The doctors do a great job, and we’ll continue to monitor all injuries." This season, the Paintsville, KY native has managed 36 tackles (22 solo), three pass deflections, and one interception.

A University of Kentucky spokesman has confirmed that Daniel will miss tonight's game against Missouri. The senior linebacker was dressed out during pregame warmups.
