Kentucky moves up in AP Poll; Louisville new No. 1
After a crazy week in college basketball, Kentucky moved up one spot in the AP Poll. The Cats are now the No. 8 team in the country, behind Ohio State and North Carolina and ahead of Gonzaga.
Following the stunning loss to Stephen F. Austin, Duke dropped from No. 1 to No. 10, making — you guessed it — Louisville the new top-ranked team in the country. The Cards received 48 of the 65 first-place votes. Kansas moved up to No. 2, Maryland up to No. 3, and after beating Iowa State, North Carolina, and Gonzaga in the Battle 4 Atlantis, previously-unranked Michigan is now No. 4. Virginia rounds out the top five.
