As expected, the Cats are cruising in today’s matinee game at Rupp Arena. After 20 minutes of play, Kentucky leads North Florida 54-23.

It’s been a feel-good affair, with the Cats shooting 53.7% from the floor and 46.7% (7-15) from three while holding the Ospreys to 34.6% from the field. Antonio Reeves, who got his first start, leads the way for Kentucky with 18 points, including four three-pointers. Oscar Tshiebwe is the only other Cat in double figures, with 10 points. He’s just one rebound short of a double-double.

It’s been a beautifully clean game, with 15 assists to just one turnover. Kentucky is owning the boards, outrebounding the Ospreys 26-12. North Florida is not a good basketball team, but it’s good to see the Cats having fun and shooting well.
