Kentucky has extended yet another scholarship offer in the class of 2021.

This afternoon, John Calipari and the UK coaching staff extended an offer to five-star forward Moussa Diabate, the program’s fifth among uncommitted prospects.

Tipton Edits was the first to break the news.

Diabate, a 6-foot-10, 215-pound forward native of France, currently plays for IMG Academy in Bradenton, FL.

The five-star prospect is considered the No. 7 overall player in the ESPN rankings, with 247Sports listing him at No. 19 overall in their Composite rankings for 2021.

In an interview with KSR, Kentucky’s lone commitment in the class of 2021, Nolan Hickman, said he has been in Diabate’s ear about joining him in Lexington next year, among other prospects.

“Yeah, I’ve been pushing the tempo with [five-star forward] Patrick Baldwin. I’ve even tried pushing the tempo with my guy Paolo [Banchero], even with him being committed to Duke, I’ve been trying to talk that BBN in his ear. He picked the wrong shade of blue. I’ve been reaching out to Moussa [Diabate] at IMG, trying to reach out to him,” Hickman told KSR.

“I’ve been doing anything I can as a point guard, reaching out to everyone I can to help this team flourish and be the best it can be. We’ve got to get this tenth [title]. I skipped nine for a reason, this squad is going to go out there and do their thing.”

Diabate joins five-star guards Jaden Hardy and Hunter Sallis, five-star forward Patrick Baldwin Jr., and four-star forward Bryce Hopkins as uncommitted prospects to receive an offer from Kentucky in the class of 2021.
