Kentucky offers 5-star Cheick Diallo

by:Chris Fisher05/07/14
diallo As anticipated since the hiring of assistant Slice Rohrssen, Kentucky offered 5-star power forward Cheick Diallo of Centereach (N.Y.) Our Savior New American School late Tuesday night. Rohrssen was the point man in Diallo's recruitment at Pittsburgh before leaving for Kentucky and many considered Diallo a Pittsburgh lean at that time. Ranked as the No. 6 overall prospect in the 2015 class in the 247Sports Composite, Diallo is an ultra-athletic/energetic player with an ever improving skill game. Rohrssen and John Calipari watched Diallo during last month's spring evaluation period, where he averaged 17.2 points, 7.5 rebounds, 1.2 blocks and 1.2 steals at the Nike EYBL in Sacramento. The Wildcats own a minority 32 percent stake in Diallo's 24Sports Crystal Ball. For more on Diallo, visit CatsPause.com [FREE] @ChrisFisher247
