Kentucky punter Colin Goodfellow was in the transfer portal, then out of the portal, then back in the portal, now back out and staying put at Kentucky for one final season.

On Monday, Goodfellow announced to his Twitter followers that the second time’s a charm and he will play out his career at Kentucky in his super-senior year.

“I couldn’t be happier with my decision to come back to my home away from home,” Goodfellow wrote. “It was an easy decision after considering all of the options and I realized I just have more to give here on and off the field. I’m excited to be back for my ‘super senior’ season and I cannot wait for the best season yet. Let’s ride, #BBN.”

A breakout star in 2021, Goodfellow had the second-highest average for punting in school history, while ranking third in punt average in the SEC with a 45.94 average.

His return leaves Kentucky’s punting in good hands and foot.
