Kentucky receives 73 votes in Preseason Coaches Poll

Your University of Kentucky Wildcats didn’t make the Top 25 of the Preseason Amway Coaches Poll, but they’re just outside. The Cats received 73 votes, which puts them in 29th place. Clemson is the preseason No. 1, followed by Ohio State, Alabama, Georgia, and LSU.

In total, six SEC teams made the top 25: Alabama (3), Georgia (4), LSU (5), Florida (8), Auburn (11), and Texas A&M (13). Tennessee received 111 votes (26), while the Louisville Cardinals got 62 (33). Mississippi State got nine.
