Now this is interesting.

According to Andrew Slater of Pro Insight, members of the Kentucky Men’s Basketball coaching staff paid a visit to Leonard Miller on Friday, a class of 2022 6-foot-10 power forward out of Ontario, Canada who plays for Fort Erie International Academy. Who is Miller you might ask? Terrific question. He might just be one of the best-kept secrets in all of high school hoops.

Miller isn’t ranked by the likes of 247 Sports or Rivals, but he recently struck the eye of On3’s recruiting expert Jamie Shaw, who raved about the high school senior and how a six-inch growth spurt has propelled him to the national stage. NBA scouts have been following Miller closely for a few months now.

Things have changed for Leonard Miller. Now he is 6-10 with a measured 7-3 wingspan, and he kept his guard skills. He initiates the offense for 90-percent of Fort Erie’s possessions. He is shooting over 40-percent from three on the season. Miller averages 32 points per game this season, leading the Grind Session, and Canada in scoring. Yet, a quick google search shows Miller is currently unranked by the On3 Consensus, a proprietary algorithm that compiles ratings and rankings from all four major recruiting media services.

Miller is considered a five-star recruit and the No. 11 overall prospect in his class according to On3’s own rankings. He’s hearing plenty from pro routes such as the G League Ignite, but several high-level colleges are getting involved, too. Kansas, TCU, Providence, Washington State, and Alabama have all been recruiting him, with Kentucky and Auburn making contact on Friday. Slater reports that Pittsburgh and DePaul will visit Miller on Monday. Miller’s older brother, Emmanuel, currently plays for TCU.

Kentucky has just two commitments from the class of 2022 in five-stars Cason Wallace and Chris Livingston.

Expect Miller to take a massive leap in the next rankings rollout from other major recruiting services.
