Kentucky Softball receives No. 9 national seed in NCAA Tournament

This is the highest seed the team has ever received in the tournament proving their hard work and determination this season is paying off. Their previous record was a 12 seed in 2013. Kentucky is one of 14 schools and one of seven SEC schools to receive a national seeding in at least three of the last four NCAA Tournaments. The team will host Butler, Illinois and Utah this weekend at John Cropp Stadium, with the Cats taking on Butler this Friday.
