Kentucky Sports Radio Moves Forward

by:Matt Jones08/16/07
kentucky sports radio For those of you who werent able to hear the news today, Rob and I announced that Kentucky Sports Radio is on the path to syndication. As part of our new deal with 1570 The Zone, Rob and I are going back to our former format and focusing primarily on Kentucky athletics in our new time slot from 6-8 pm. Over the past few months as we have done the Sports Mob, we have been doing a broader based show in order to deal with afternoon drive, but have always felt it went against our roots somewhat. Now we will go back to the original Kentucky Sports Radio format (including the name) and focus on UK from 6-8 in the evenings. This time will also allow us to do what we had always hoped, mainly syndicate the show across the state. We hope to have two new stations to announce in the next two weeks, with more to come soon after. In addition Rob Gidel will also be joining the morning show on 1570 with Scott Clark and Dave Ragone. Rob is going to do a great job with that show and we hope you will support him in that new endeavor as well. We are very excited about this change and look forward to bringing our UK show to a greater audience. In addition, we hope to have an equally exciting announcement to share in the next two weeks or so that will help take the Kentucky Sports Radio website and our exposure to an even higher level. So over the next few weeks, call your local radio stations and tell them you want Kentucky Sports Radio in your town. With this move we can head towards becoming the #1 sports radio show in the entire state. If you are interested in us coming to your city let us know....we are headed all around the state and we hope that everywhere in the Bluegrass (and across the world on the web) can get a daily dose of UK talk every night.
