After Tuesday night’s embarrassing loss to Evansville, Kentucky remains in the top ten of the latest AP Poll — but just barely. The Cats fell from No. 1 to No. 9.

Duke is now the No. 1 team in the country, followed by Louisville, Michigan State, Kansas, and North Carolina. Kentucky’s opponent in the CBS Sports Classic, Ohio State, is No. 10. Evansville received 43 votes.
