If you’ve wondered what Kentucky would look like on a night they just couldn’t make a shot, well, behold the first half.

Kentucky trails Kansas 33-30 after 20 minutes of action, with Reid Travis the lone Cat in double figures with 12. PJ Washington has six points, while Ashton Hagans, Keldon Johnson, and Tyler Herro all have four. Reid’s scoring flurry helped the Cats stay in it after Kansas assumed control. Thank goodness for him.

Kentucky is shooting 33 percent from the floor and is 0-8 from the three-point line. Thankfully, Kansas is only hitting 36 percent from the floor, so if Tyler Herro and Keldon Johnson (a combined 3-12 from the floor thus far) get going in the second half, the Cats have a good shot. Cross your fingers.
