With two losses in its last two games, Kentucky is unranked in this week's AP college basketball poll, as expected. It marks the first time the AP poll has been Kentucky-less since the final regular season rankings of the 2013-14 season, when the Cats finished the year at 29-11 and 12-6 in conference play. Of course, that team went on to reach the title game in Aaron Harrison's "great story." But back to the present, the updated poll has three SEC teams in Auburn (19), Florida (20) and Tennessee (22), plus a top-10 team ahead in West Virginia (7).
