Kentucky Volleyball earns no. 2 overall seed in NCAA Tournament
Your ranked Kentucky Wildcats have earned a one seed in the NCAA Volleyball Tournament. Craig Skinner’s club finished an all-SEC regular-season slate 19-1 and was ranked second in the final AVCA Coaches Poll.
During Sunday’s Selection Show on ESPNU, the UK Volleyball team came in as the second overall seed, earning a one-seed and a first-round bye:

Kentucky’s No. 2 overall seed in the 2021 Tournament marks their highest in the history of the program. Coming off a fourth straight SEC Championship and earning the highest seed in team history, 2020-21 could potentially be the most successful ever for UK.
The Volleyball ‘Cats will be headed to the Omaha, NE bubble in the coming days and hopefully they’ll return with a banner. Kentucky’s opening round game will take place on April 15 at 7 p.m. (ESPN3) against the winner of Illinois State and UNLV.
