Mark Stoops begged fans to come out in full force on Saturday, and the Big Blue Nation answered the call. Kentucky's game this weekend against South Carolina is officially SOLD OUT. The UK ticket office sent out the following announcement: https://twitter.com/uktix/status/1045096805699145729?s=21 With 60,037 fans in attendance, Kroger Field wasn't officially a sell-out against Mississippi State on Saturday, but their presence sure made an impact on the game. The stadium was rocking from start to finish, and it was a big reason why the Cats were able to dominate against the No. 14 team in the nation. Mark Stoops acknowledged on his call-in show how much it helped his team on Saturday and asked for a similar atmosphere against the Gamecocks this weekend. "Without a doubt (the fans) made a difference. They affected the outcome of the game," Stoops said. "Our composure was a big piece of the game last week. With a crowd almost at capacity, it was key for our team to stay composed throughout the game. This Saturday we really need the stadium to be filled again for another big game. ...We need it upped again this week." Ask and you shall receive, coach. The Big Blue Nation will be there loud and proud on Saturday. Well done, folks.
