Knox's father, Kevin Knox Sr., told the NY Post that his son is shooting for a return sometime between Nov. 2 and Nov. 10. His father also said the injury was not "a high ankle sprain" but a Grade 2 ankle sprain, which is less severe. Also included in the article was a mention of Knox Sr. being a huge influence on Knox as a shooter. Apparently, after Knox's 4-16 shooting performance on opening night - his first NBA game - he and his father spent 90 minutes in the gym later that night getting shots up until 1 a.m. Knox scored 17 points on 7-14 shooting in his next game. While Knox's father has given an estimate on his son's return, his team has not. The New York Knicks have yet to release an official timetable on Knox and they'll have the final say in determining when Knox is healthy enough to return. The good news is the injury doesn't appear to be as bad as it looked. In three games for the rookie this season, he's averaged 9.3 points and 2.0 rebounds.
