Kiel Turpin To Be A Seminole

by:Will Lentz09/17/10

Just like I talked about yesterday with Patterson, once you’re in the wildcat family, you stay in the wildcat family.  So when we see that your kids are getting a chance to play Division 1 ball, it’s something we celebrate together.

Kiel Turpin is a sophomore for Lincoln College (A JuCo,) was the MVP of the NJCA tournament, and helped to bring home the National Title for his school.  Apparently he didn’t play much in high school, but was recruited based on his potential.  Then, much to the delight of his coaches, he grew about six inches, and Kiel played his way to Florida State.

Kiel is the son of the former UK Star Mel Turpin, who passed away earlier this year.

Good luck Kiel, we wish you the best.
