Freshman Season, 2011
Lowery played all 12 games as a true freshman in 2011, finishing the year with 16 tackles and one start at strong safety in his home state against Georgia. He recorded a season-high five tackles that game.
Sophomore Season, 2012
Now a full-time starter in the secondary, Lowery played in eight games but missed four due to injury. He totaled 43 tackles, good enough for fifth on the team, plus one interception, the only pick of his career.

Lowery has a pretty firm grasp on that starting spot at free safety and will be the leader of Kentucky's very young and unproven secondary. Mark Stoops recently called him the "one constant" from the group during fall practice.
