KSR Happy Hour: Talking Governor's Cup and more on Black Friday
We couldn’t let the holiday week go by without a KSR Happy Hour. Grab a Country Boy brew and let’s catch up ahead of a very big weekend for Kentucky Football and a very big week for Kentucky Basketball.
Today, we’ve got plenty to discuss and not a ton of time to discuss it, as some of us still have some family gatherings to attend. Over the next 30 minutes, Drew Franklin, Jack Pilgrim, and I will talk about the Governor’s Cup, the basketball team’s games vs. North Carolina and Gonzaga next week, our Thanksgivings, and more. The Egg Bowl will just be wrapping up, so that’ll probably be a topic too. We can’t be the only sports media people not to opine on Lane Kiffin’s future.
We’ll also be answering your questions and reading comments from the YouTube live chat, so join us. Be sure to subscribe to the channel so you don’t miss any of our excellent content.
Shoutout to our presenting sponsor, Country Boy Brewing
Country Boy Brewing was founded in the heart of Kentucky by true blue wildcat fans.
Check out the original brewery and taproom just down the street from KSBar on Chair Avenue. With 24 beers and ciders on tap, there is something for everyone!

Further thanks to LG&E and KU!
LG&E and KU knows that when the lights go out, it can feel like a full-court press. But staying in the know is an easy win. Update your phone number in the LG&E and KU mobile app or in My Account. If the power goes out, you’ll get play-by-play texts from 454-358 with outage updates, safety information, and time estimates for power restoration. Can’t text? No problem. We’ll call the landline on your account with the same updates so you’re never left in the dark.
Because in the dark, there’s no defense. But with LG&E and KU, you’ve always got a team working to get the lights back on and let you know the game plan. Update your number today at lge-ku.com/outages.
