KSR Podcast #11 - Live From Hoops For Haiti

Joebhall It doesnt get a whole lot better for us than what happened today on the taping of Episode 11 of the Kentucky Sports Radio Podcast. It was an action packed show, with the following guests from the "Hoops for Haiti" Telethon: John Calipari Joe B Hall Governor Steve Beshear Richie Farmer Dave Baker Tom Leach I think it is safe to say that we will never have a lineup quite like that again. There were many highlights of the event, including: --- Joe B Hall telling Drew he needed to get a job, harassing him throughout the interview and essentially stealing the show with some great stories that you simply will love. --- Calipari talking about the project, his thoughts on his great respect for Tubby Smith and using the phrase "recruiting poop", which we love. --- Dave Baker's comments on his favorite "Real World" houseguests of the past and a story about how he processes KSR. --- Governor Beshear commenting on the "resourcefullness" of our own Turkey Hunter. --- Richie Farmer answering the age-old question of if everyone from Clay County will fight. --- Tom Leach on where he ranks John Wall in terms of all the players he has seen in his broadcasting career. --- A final segment with the KSR crew that includes a couple of lines from Turkey Hunter and Drew that may have made me laugh more than any in a long time. There are a lot of absurd moments, some good stories (especially from Hall, Calipari and Baker) and comments on a great cause that brought the players and program together for a special night.
