Both Danville and LCA have enjoyed impressive seasons, the Ads only loss was in week four against a tough Corbin team. LCA is one of just 15 teams in the state that remain undefeated. Danville has blown out two district opponents on the way to a four game winning streak. Zack Dampier completed 13 of 15 passes for 275 yards and four touchdowns in Danville's 47-14 win against Middlesboro last week. Dampier eclipsed the 7,000 yard mark for passing yards in his career. Dampier leads class 2A in passing this season completing 100 of 150 passes for 1625 yards 20 touchdowns and just 3 interceptions. Sophomore D'Mauriae VanCleave leads the Ads in receiving with 29 receptions for 478 yards and 6 touchdowns. Ellison Stanfield is not far behind with 27 catches for 461 yards and 3 touchdowns. Danville can get it done through the air and on the ground as junior running back Don Harris averages 110 yards a game. Harris has rushed for 769 yards and 11 touchdowns in 7 games this season. LCA had its most competitive game since week one last week against district foe Somerset, the Eagles had to rally from a 21-19 deficit in the fourth quarter to keep their undefeated season intact. LCA scored 22 points in the final quarter behind strong performances from Dillion Wheatley and Logan Nieves. The junior duo combined for 300 rushing yards. Wheatley has put together an impressive junior season rushing for 756 yards and 13 touchdowns in 7 games. Nieves splits time at quarterback with 6'3 junior Brayden Miller who has thrown for 993 yards and 11 touchdowns this season. LCA is looking for revenge tomorrow night after Danville ended the Eagles 2015 season in a 56-14 blowout. The Ads speed proved to be too much for a young LCA team last season. Head Coach Ethan Atchley will need a great gameplan to slow down an impressive Danville offense. Eli's Pick - LCA has improved greatly under Coach Atchley but this Danville team is clicking on all cylinders behind the arm of Dampier and the legs of Harris. I'll take Danville 35-21.
Other Notable Games
Pulaski County (7-1) vs. Southwestern (6-2)  Pulaski County survived a scare last week against a South Laurel team that Southwestern dismantled in week seven 62-20. Mr. Football candidate Jake Johnson has 58 receptions for 694 yards and 7 touchdowns this season. Southwestern's JP Vaught leads class 5A in receiving with 27 catches for 717 yards and 9 touchdowns. Paintsville (8-0) vs Raceland (8-0) Kent Phelps has lead the Tigers to an undefeated start for the second season in a row. The Wofford commit has rushed for 862 yards and 16 touchdowns on just 81 carries. Raceland's 2015 season was ended by the Tigers in a tough 20-15 game. These two teams play for a district 6 championship tomorrow night. Male (6-2) vs. Manual (7-1)  Male looks to bounce back after a tough 31-21 loss to St.X last week while Manual is hoping to add on to a strong performance on the ground in their 34-28 victory over Pleasure Ridge Park. Marcis Floyd rushed for 128 yards on 19 carries to lead Manual to 382 rushing yards in a win. TJ Thomas hopes to add to his impressive season on Friday night, the senior has thrown for 1,157 yards and 20 touchdowns this season.

Watch the Tape: North Florida Ospreys

After a slow start, the Kentucky Wildcats turned up the intensity and blew out the North Florida Ospreys 86-52. The large margin of victory was made even more impressive with the absence of Keion Brooks and Davion Mintz, who were out with an...
