KSR's Rapid Reaction: Mark Pope gives roster updates and talks offseason moves

For the first time since Kentucky’s season wrapped up in the Sweet 16 and the portal madness with additions and departures came to a close, Mark Pope was ready to talk about it all in a mid-May press conference with the local media.
What was he looking to accomplish during the roster-building process? How did he land his top targets and what are his expectations for that group in year two? Any other additions on the horizon? Don’t forget about the Purdue exhibition and St. John’s being added to the schedule — Pope was excited to talk about those things.
Oh, and that $200 million NIL budget Kentucky is working with, apparently. He enjoyed joking about that, too.
