KSR's Zoom Action breaks down what went wrong in Kentucky's 67-64 loss to North Carolina

Kentucky’s loss to North Carolina earlier this week was not pretty. KSR’s Zoom Action dove into the film room to get a better understanding of why it happened.

Even with the game being played in front of a rocking Rupp Arena crowd, the hampered Wildcats just couldn’t come out with the win. While there were positives to take away from the defensive end (which we’ll touch on in our video), the offense was a struggle. A field goal drought of 10-plus minutes and a 1-13 shooting mark from deep plagued Mark Pope‘s crew. Giving up 20 more offensive rebounds (which led to 22 second-chance points) was not ideal, either.

In this week’s episode of Zoom Action, we’ll be focusing on two stretches from the loss. The first comes in the first half when Kentucky’s defense led to easy transition points. The second comes in the final minute of the game when UK failed to consistently execute. Click the video below to dive in.
