[caption id="attachment_222365" align="alignnone" width="960"] @jkatzenstein/NOLA.com[/caption] Former Kentucky offensive lineman Larry Warford spent his first four years in the NFL as a Detroit Lion before signing with the New Orleans Saints in early March. Warford had offers from six other teams, but said signing with New Orleans was an easy decision. "This is definitely where I wanted to be," Warford told The Times-Picayune in March. "Just being here for the last day I'm excited I did -- really happy." The 25-year-old signed a four-year deal with the Saints worth $34 million with $17 million guaranteed. Warford will not only be protecting Saints' quarterback Drew Brees, but also Adrian Peterson. The Saints signed a two-year deal with Peterson in April. Warford, who wore the #75 for the Lions, will return to wearing the number #67, the number he wore during his time at Kentucky. Since I will be living in Baton Rouge this upcoming school year, I will have to get to a Saints game and cheer on the former Cat.
