makersmarkwatertower If you live in or around Lebanon, odds are you've seen the work on the water tower eight miles from the Maker's Mark distillery. Back in November, the city of Lebanon contracted muralist Eric Henn to turn their plain, normal water tower into a work of bourbon art, and since then, the tower has slowly turned into a giant, gorgeous advertisement for Maker's Mark, the #1 tourist attraction in Marion County. Henn also painted the horse racing mural on the petroleum storage tank in Versailles, the mural outside Bluegrass Airport in Lexington, and a storage tank mural three miles outside Maker's Mark, along with several famous large-scale murals across the country. Here are some more shots of his latest venture, courtesy of the Lebanon, Ky. Facebook page: November 23: April 20 April 27: And today: The city of Lebanon is encouraging people to take selfies with the water tower and post them on social media with the hashtag #LebanonMakersWaterTower, so get on out there and share yours. And then drink some bourbon. (Responsibly, of course.)
