Kentucky is 7-0 following the Music City Classic, but their perfect record could be put in jeopardy when they take on the No. 16 North Carolina Tar Heels. (5 p.m. ET). KSR’s new and improved LIVE BLOG will bring you all the real-time updates you need to keep up with the Cats.
Kenny Brooks has won six consecutive games against North Carolina, but those games are always very, very competitive. It’ll take a pretty good effort from the Cats to leave Chapel Hill with a win.

12/05/2024 05:48:33 PMThe ‘Cats are unable to come out on top in this year’s SEC/ACC Challenge against North Carolina. The No. 14 Wildcats are now 7-1 on the season with two ranked wins so far.
Dazia Lawrence leads all players with 17 points. Amelia Hassett (13) and Georgia Amoore (10) are the only other ‘Cats in double digits. Clara Strack finishes with only four points and four rebounds.
North Carolina picks up the pace and Kentucky can’t keep up.
12/05/2024 05:41:50 PMWhile the foul calling might’ve seemed a little lopsided, there’s only a one foul differential between the two teams. North Carolina is just capitalizing off of Kentucky’s defensive mistakes and extends their lead to 15 with less than two minutes to go.
