stinger1 (KSR medical diagram - NOT actually Derrick Locke) Derrick Locke returned to practice earlier this week and was looking like he was good to go for Saturday's game against Mississippi State.  That is, until today when Locke did not participate in Wednesday's practice. Joker said he is not sure if Locke will be able to play Saturday. Locke has been out almost three weeks with a Brachial plexus injury, commonly known as a 'burner' or a 'stinger' to you people who aren't as smart as me.  It is an intensely painful nerve injury that occurs where the bundle of nerves that runs from the back of your neck into your arm meet and come together at the shoulder.  From there (the Brachial plexus), the nerves go down to all of the arm muscles which is where the football-related complications occur.  In Locke's case, he is suffering from numbness, tingling, and weakness in his right arm.  And that, my friends, is no bueno. Get well soon.  Go Cats.
