Locke out, Burton and Warford doubtful; FSU 25 UK 3

http://www.ukathletics.com/image_lib/fb_pap07_locke.jpg It was just too one sided. The build-up to the Music City Bowl has been dominated by the obligatory off-field tomfoolery from the $eminoles and their legendary and legendary senile head coach and his impending retirement (yeah). Now, the news from the HL's Chip Cosby that Derrick Locke will miss the Bowl with a rib injury, and Keenan Burton and Paul Warford are listed as doubtful. Kentucky had managed to "lay back in the cut", dutifully preparing to defend their MCB crown as the Noles stole headlines (among other things). Now, two quality offensive threats appear to be out along with a game tested corner. With nearly a third of the Florida State football team rendered to the sidelines (or the side of the highway) for the Music City Bowl, Kentucky's already assured a victory in the depth department. But remember how futile a Burton-less Kentucky offense was agaisnt Miss St. Similarly, Locke has been the team's 4th quarter staple, racking up yards and deflating defenses. Hopefully, Locke's injury won't impede his off-season workouts (like trying to win UK a track and field title, that's what badasses do in their down time), and Burton quickly improves in time to wow the scouts at the combine.
