LOOK: There was a fire next to Rupp Arena today
In yet another sign of the impending apocalypse, there was a fire in the convention center adjacent to Rupp Arena this afternoon. Our intrepid reporter Drew Franklin has photos of the blaze, which was located at the Central Bank Center. According to the Herald-Leader public safety account, the fire is now out.

The fire occurred in the part of the building which was under demolition, but it has been put out, according to the fire department.
