Louisville replaces UK with WKU; Full ACC schedule released

The Governor’s Cup won’t take place this fall, but two in-state football teams will face off. This morning, the ACC released its full 2020 schedule, and Louisville will start its season against Western Kentucky on September 12 in Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium.

Last week, the ACC announced it was moving to a 10+1 schedule with one non-conference game, which left the door open for the annual Louisville-Kentucky game…until the SEC announced it will only play conference games in 2020. We’re still waiting on the SEC to release its schedule, which will tell us who Kentucky’s additional league opponents will be, but if you’d like to peek over the fence and see what the ACC is doing, here’s their complete slate:

Of course Louisville is playing three Friday night games.
